OneDeage 2 Posted January 24, 2020 I've been using the editor for 2 weeks now and I've noticed when you place a burning candle into the world it will only stay lit for a few minutes of playing that world. Is there a way to make "burning candles" permanently burning unless put out by a player maybe?
bojo2736 1016 Posted January 24, 2020 Candles are weird. The answer, at this time, is no. Adam says they have a fix coming.
Adam Snellgrove 1451 Posted January 24, 2020 We are trying to implement a more 'elegant' solution but right now you can put all candles (or other fire releated items) and put them in an array and script them to light up at a specific time every day. This should ensure a constant light source if you need it.
Indomitus 388 Posted January 24, 2020 Yes there are multiple ways to do it with script, but I think OP might be referring to Explore mode.

jchob 354 Posted January 25, 2020 (edited) He said he has been using editor. If it's a map generated from inside editor. I think burning objects can be scripted to burn again with scripting. I haven't tested candles but I think they work similarly to the brazier. Edited January 25, 2020 by jchob
