mmm...a new structure for the caves? Maybe they bring some new block with her?
-
Hi I am using boxes, sacks and different containers for the decoration of the game, but I do not want them to have interaction and I need to be applying the logic of deactivating interactions in each one, either with labels, or in the object itself. I would like it if it is possible to have the option to disable interaction in the properties of the object, to be able to disable everything at the same time without having to add a lot of logic.

RESOLVED [YLD-14451] Inventory/Equip/Drop error
Spyler.X replied to Indomitus's question in Bugs & Technical Issues
I had a similar error with the event listener, When generating an object in the inventory, the event listener should activate when it is released, but it does not. On the other hand, if the object is picked up from the ground, the script works correctly. I also experience the error where the object remains in the inventory but can not be used, this happened to me when trying to eliminate the bear traps from the inventory. -

What's your experience with P1 so far?
Spyler.X replied to RedEagle_P1.'s topic in General Discussion
I have not been with P1 for a year yet. I joined them to help them with the first Tencent contest. And as you can see in my image, it was love at first sight There are really wonderful people in this community that I can proudly say I am part of. Every day I am surprised to see that the community is bigger than I thought and I never imagined that I could find so many good people in one place. I do not even speak English and my communication with them is very limited, even so, they make me feel at home. I thank everyone for that. @Christalle, I'm not sure I taught you all that, you do an amazing job. And especially I would like to thank @RedEagle_P1. for his incredible dedication and passion for this. With all this, I will tell you that if you are looking for a place where you can do what you like most, learn something new every day and do it with incredible people, this is your place. -
awesome that's something completely unexpected i love it

Hello I am trying to detect the text that the player writes in the chat, but I do not know if it is possible. Is there any way to do this? if there is not, it may be interesting to implement it, in my case I am trying to create a kind of web page where I can buy, this should be opened when writing the link in the chat. But it can be interesting for other functions, such as being able to create our custom commands or for example in a defense game it would allow us to indicate to the rest of the team where to go, or ask for help with simple indications.

Congratulations to all, they are very beautiful, it takes more life in those cold islands I would be lying if I said that I did not have a project designed for this, but I did not have time to put it together.

I will show this as they are prepared for the first person and will be stopped until next updates I have been working on small compositions with logic that gives them a usefulness. I have 3 open projects, all are perfectly functional, I am simply embellishing the logic, and adding more functions. I will not explain much. just so they can take a look. 1st Music -I have created a drummer I have two versions with different sounds, also has a mixer. with which to create rhythms in the editor to use them later. Obviously I have no idea of music , but I guess some of you can make this sound good. It also has the option to change color and I am working on headphones with which I can listen to it anywhere 2nd Clock - I have several versions, needle and digital. The needle, the first model measures the real time and tells us how much time we have been playing. The other model measures the time of play and has the function of being able to travel in time, although it still suffers some imbalances when detecting the time, sometimes trips in time are unpredictable. The digital basically the same but will have more functions. 3º Furniture This was not necessary has been on a whim but it occurred to me and it can be interesting in some situations, it's also nice: P It's the last thing I'm working on so I do not have much. until they are finished, I will not upload them to the workshop but until then if someone wants to have one to try or something they just have to ask for it
-
thanks Bob Salvador I do not know how long, but if you need some patience. especially with the drummer
-
Thanks Houp Is great I can see several new things also in that photo
-
Thanks @Indomitus, in composition format I could download it without problem. I have a good time ahead to go a little crazy with this
-
I really could not, your previous map worked for me without problem. But this one I can only edit it if I play it first, and the logic is hidden. Redeagle has tested and it did not work either. I've tried other maps and the same thing happens although I'm not sure if they uploaded it in editable format
-
I was going crazy thinking it was a composition and it did not work haha. Even so I can not open the map to edit it just to play it, but this time I will make sure first that it is not my fault before I complain
-
ok I did not say anything, I'm an idiot... is a game

My sincere thanks to the entire Ylands team, especially to that small team that started this project several years ago. A year ago I have Ylands, from the beginning I always said that the possibilities it offered were endless, but with each update those possibilities increase exponentially and it is wonderful. Already go more than 2000 hours in this incredible game, I have learned things that I never thought I would learn and all thanks to the great team of Ylands, for offering us this possibility, it is incredible to be able to learn with you. Happy night and enjoy your well-deserved holidays

@Aleš Ulm I think it will not be a problem for me to reach that limit, anyway I love it. Finally, we can work in big scenarios without worrying about each block that we put. One day looking for my tree for Christmas with 250k of colliders. P.S: Merry christmas to all

RESOLVED [YLD-13692] Giant movement arrows in editor
Spyler.X replied to RedEagle_P1.'s question in Bugs & Technical Issues
I suppose that Red refers to the error with the movement arrows that are fixed in a size and it is very annoying, it is solved by restarting the game -
Oh, wonderful, this forum improves every day I think he's a nice Pangolin.
-
I agree that a lighter animation system is necessary, but what about the repetitions that do not have to do with movement? such as wanting to make a quick transition of colors, or other situations in which it may be necessary also say that reducing the time between repeaters would not solve the problem completely since it will still be possible to alternate several repeaters to accelerate the time, for example now they have reduced it to 0.03 and I once used two repeaters at a time to get that fluided, or adding instructions to the repeater to increase the frequency
-
I have tried to make a list of players online, and although it is fully functional. I think there has to be a way to make it simpler. What functions do I have to use to reduce this logic and that it is as elegant as in the Gold rust game?
-
ok thank you very much @Rudy.cz, I'll try the reps, they look better. And I'm waiting for that wiki, at this moment it's a constant trial and error but little by little things start to work, even with a long and ugly logic.
-
It was a hard work but the result is undeniable, I love it. Again, my congratulations for your great editing work. @RedEagle_P1. What will be next ...

Happy Pets This is Philip, since his childhood his passion has been diving. He used to travel the world with his wife, Léa, exploring the depths and making a living by capturing rare species of fish. Everything changed, when Léa became pregnant and they returned to their hometown, north of Ylandia. They spent nine happy months, until one tragic day, Léa died to bring her daughter to the world. Philip was devastated, but he could not afford it, now he had a daughter to take care of. I call her Luna since it was the name her mother would have wanted. He realized that he had to change his way of life, so he invested all his savings in the reform of an old warehouse at the entrance to the city and opened an animal shop. Now he works with his daughter Luna, who studies biology and the business could not go better. good some decorations that I already had and other new I made this beautiful animal shop, with autumnal style. I have also implemented some logic although they are not finished. The idea is that the player has to interact with the environment so to buy something you have to look for it in the store and go through the cash to pay even though I have not had time to adjust the mode of payment. Another method would be a kind of web page in which to buy online although I still have very green logic in that. Also the npc give us some explanations about the animals and help if necessary. I leave a small video where you can see a bit of this.
