I have found a bug reported within the Unity issue tracker which I believe might be what you're experiencing. We'll post more on Monday. Have a great weekend and thanks again for your help!

    RESOLVED Inventory Bug

Thanks for getting involved, guys. We are looking into it. Also - thanks for the tip, you are right that this might be Unity-related issue. In the meantime, can you please (because we, as Ane pointed out, haven't been able to reproduce that ourselves) try to turn some of the visual settings off to see if it helps? (shadows, ambient occlusion, water...). Thanks a lot! Edit: you may also want to try if you encounter the same problem while running the game in the windowed mode
  3. Thanks a lot for the feedback! We know that terrain tools behave unexpectedly under some circumstances and that the controls and visualisation need way more love (we plan to improve those gradually). As for the "how it's done" part: right now the objects are just prefabs and there's not much magic in the way we work with them. This will obviously become a problem in massive structures consisting of huge number small pieces - solving this problem is just one of many challenges that still lie ahead of us We want to help the others who work with Unity by sharing some tips and tricks - but because doing so by replying specific questions in single posts would be quite ineffective we actually plan to do it on some blog or by opening a specific thread here or on Unity forums. Once we do we will announce it in here. More kinds of bricks: noted, thanks

    RESOLVED Picking up/dropping items

Hi, our solution should be able to register input events even at low fps. Just to make sure though - can you tell us (approximately ) what your fps is when you feel some of the input events are ignored? Thanks!

    RESOLVED Some gameplay issues

Hi, to clarify where we currently stand with the respawn feature and what our plans are - as of this moment the survival mode is indeed rather harsh because of the permadeath (currently that is not the case with ylands that contain more than one active character (MP games) - if you die there you are able to start at the same yland with a new character while everything on the yland stays as it was ) . We are aware of that but for now we're leaving as it is because we are currently working (along with other cool stuff) on something that will give you ability to setup your game experience in a more detailed manner - including how is your character's death handled. This feature will be available in one of the upcoming updates. Ales

RESOLVED Built logs despawn in water?

Hi, this indeed sounds like some bug we are not currently aware of. Can I ask you to send us your save game or a screenshot where the post can be seen before it disappears so that we can try to replicate that behavior? Thanks a lot! Ales

RESOLVED Stuck Between Item and the Terrain

Hi, fellow Ylander! Thanks a lot for the save file - I will take a look at it asap (we take these critical bugs very seriously). Unfortunately, with most of the team being unavailable due to Christmas holidays I can't promise we will able to provide the solution before January 4th. We will keep you posted. Have great day! Ales

    RESOLVED Picking up/dropping items

Hi, thanks a lot for the feedback. We agree that it indeed is annoying - this is caused mostly by one bug but obviously some existing features need to be improved as well. -ghost-tf : items that are created by actions like digging should be added into the inventory automatically even now - is it possible that the pieces of dirt we see in the scene were created there instead of inside the inventory because your inventory was already full? Otherwise it would be a bug... This is what will be fixed/changed in the next update (which will be released in about two weeks) * if, for any reason, the items can't be placed inside the inventory, they will be created in the scene in stacks (if there is a stack of that item type nearby, the newly created item will be added to it instead of placing it next to you) - this feature has already been implemented but some bug prevents it from being executed * you will be able to destroy even items like dirt that you have in your inventory by going into the item detail view - where now you see the Break button (which is greyed out for basic "essences" like dirt), for this type of items you will see Destroy * for every action you do with items you will be able to hold Shift, which will open a window allowing you to easily select how many items out of the stack you want to perform the action with Thanks again for helping us with the development! Ales

RESOLVED Unable to Connect - Multiplayer

Thanks for letting us know. The last patch fixed a multiplayer connection issue that manifested the way you reported - unfortunately, there seems to be at least one more issue left that is causing this. We are looking into it right now.
  13. Hi, thanks for the report! We are currently fixing several multiplayer related bugs - including this one. We will let you know as soon as the patch is released.
