Yeah, but according to the loading screen texts, it better be swearing! ^^
Great to hear @ the team expansion, btw! And def looking forward to the next (2 :P) updates ^^
lol I don't mean an actual snorkel; i meant along the lines of i dove down and failed at holding my breath ^^ on purpose though; i wanted to make sure i rezzed nearby before i continued with this map ^^ @Miguel Preguisa
works great; I 'snorkle suicided' just right off the shore on the game i'm on currently... and spawned on the other side on the same island; wasn't sure if i'd need to make a new isle or not, but no worries. Thanks you guys! <3 Worked perfectly
edit: this snorkle suicide was on purpose, btw ^^
Honestly I think this discussion should be pinned ^^ Some really really great ideas here.
I put in my 2 cents in on the topic.. but the recent world I started (after 3 hours of trying to find my boat, maybe more.. i gave up lol and started new) the island I found is..awesome. Like seriously awesome. And I've got myself built up bigtime. But not ready to sail anywhere, or go down deep in the ocean or caves because I don't want my character to die and not be able...
One of the wooden beds in crafting seems to have a bit of an issue. I made a 2nd tier on my ship, put a darling wooden bed there... and.. I can't lay on it, and I can't destroy it. I can destroy the floors and railings around it, but that bed won't let me do nothing to it. I manage with the eyesore on my beautiful ship, but...thought I'd pass that on lol
Okay, I spent days building a 'great' ship... And then I died. No clue where my ship went, I didn't have a map yet (not that it'd of done any good as you lose your stuff when you die). There really needs to be a way to spawn near your 'stuff' so to speak. Perhaps spawning on the bedrolls or beds... or at least some sort of 'you died on this island, you rez on this island's rez spot'. lol I don't even know if I want to go hunting for everything... I lost a heck of a lot...
I definately agree with this... I had a large ship that I couldn't seem to find after my death. I made a small sailboat (not a raft) and I found 2 ice islands (yeah, not where I had my ship ^^) and then I literally searched for about 3 rl hours trying to even 'find' another island.. No birdies in the sky after the ice (maybe they froze? ^^ ran outta food) And eventually I had to start over. Highly frustrating.. I understand difficulty curves (I've been a gamer for years...
As I've said before, absolutely loving this game. I do want to mention at least 3 bugs; The horse bucking (which is hilarious) sort of gives a lasting epileptic seizure ^^ Kinda funny but distracting lol. Another bug is when you use the sleeping mat, sometimes your character decides that it's not time to wake up yet and will go instantly back to sleep. I absolutely love the way the mats work though! Last bug (off the top of my head) is that things put into the hotbar...
<3 That's good to know on the random encounters; and yeah @ crafted ones too. And as far as inventory; you know how when you're in your bag, if you click on one of the 'types' of items, it'll highlight them? sort of like that; where you can at least put at the top of your bag the items you'll need (building, etc).
Btw, one thing I did forget... I absolutely love the random gen! Used to be a hardcore gamer, but with ADD, harder to focus these days. I love being...
not sure if it's been discussed; but i've noticed this too. Both in digging, and with the shoveling/smoothing. I do try to go into first person mode (C) which helps some, but doesn't solve it completely.
Absolutely loving this game; yes, it needs a bit more explanation on some of the crafting things (such as arrows, that was posted in another thread by someone), but I know that'll come. However; and it makes me feel 'duh' asking, cause I know it's gonna be one of those type of answers.. but how do you start the fire on the campfire, and on the stove/forge (whatever it's called)? I have wood resin, sticks, wood pieces... but no option to begin a fire. Thanks...
