I'll attach your files to the already existing issue another player has experiencing the same problem. Hopefully I'll know soon what could be causing it. -
I'm not sure what happened there, but FYI, we'll be deploying some new internal tools and monitors in early January which will hopefully resolve these kinds of situations.

There's no such killing command, I'm afraid. But listen to kimbuck, he's definitely an expert in this matter -
There's a way for you to destroy the computer - open your save game in the Editor, look for the computer and get rid of it (if you can find it), then save the game and open your game as an Explore game again. Hope that helps.

It sounds to me that you're playing in Creative mode? In that mode all the ylands have the same biome and you don't sail to other ylands etc. So try running an Explore game instead

It was apparently addressed and fixed months ago at some point, but it looks like the bug made it back. During January we'd like to release a patch fixing as many issues as possible, hopefully this one will make it too.

Now that I was reading this issue again... you mention the barrier belonging to your previous character. Did you link your Steam/BI accounts in the process? -

Those are things we are aware of, they will be improved over patches/in the long run. -

The issue with the character starving to death while being offline is a bug, it will be fixed.

This is a restriction from Steam, as far as I know. There's nothing we can do on our side, unfortunately.
