Right. So I'm not quite sure if having an infinite amount of procedurally generated ylands is going to be a thing in the game, we'll probably talk about that in one of our Dev Diaries if that becomes a thing -

Not sure what you mean by "or get them procedurally generated." All the ylands are procedurally generated right now. -
We are working on it and we'd like to have them as soon as possible, can't really give any time estimates at this point, sorry.

You're playing in first person view, right? You should be able to interact with it in 3rd person view. It will be fixed though, thanks for the report!

Yes, you're right, we'll definitely improve this. Regarding the ocean exploration, look for floating debris, that means you can find stuff underwater

Since it's all randomly generated, it really depends. But as a general rule, do not get deep into the ocean, just try to find a bird the moment you leave the land (possibly even locate a bird while you're still on your yland). Having a map helps a lot too!

RESOLVED Ylands Server DS - What Ports to Forward/Open

Actually the existing DS stopped working when we went to Steam. Right now we're working on an update that will allow you to use it again - we need to do some changes so that players can both host DS and play at the same time while using the same key/steam account. We'll be able to tell you more about this version later this year. Sorry! -
