    I have installed the game three times now.  The old file browser tab does not exist. It looks like I could potentially upload a scenario, but even that seems to want me to upload a .json file.  Which I know nothing about.

    A search of the nitrado site shows the old way (file browser) or FTP upload, however there is no FTP upload ability in the dashboard for YLands.

    @MyPa553ng3r put in a support ticket, but no word back from them.

    @Spyler.X have you tried to upload to Nitrado?

    Nitrado seems to be in a restart loop.  In my experience that happens when files are corrupted, however I haven't uploaded any files at this point. It's just trying to load the server files, presumably from BI.  They don't respond to help requests in a timely manner. (This being the biggest reason I was surprised that BI chose them to partner with.)  So I guess I wait.  More.

    I was able to make the servergame.  However, I can't upload it to Nitrado.  There is nowhere to upload it. It seems to want a json file.  I never had to do that with Nitrado in the past.  I was under the impression that is what is used for self hosted servers that are no longer supported.  

    Again, I don't know if this is a Nitrado issue or not.  I need some help.

    also as an additional thought if nitrado is asking for scenario files I would assume that to be an error because of the aforementioned issue with giving away a scenario file

    It being a nitrado issue is possible. We have a help request with them.

    @Adam Snellgrove see if you can get your hands on a .07 to .12 version. Play it for a bit. It was a different game. 

    Make all the editor changes you want. But please  we miss the quaint adventure it was.  Your most loyal base is telling you, you have lost something special. I get so frustrated and vocal at times because I love this game. I love this community.

    If you cant play the older version, then at least watch some of the youtuber. There were a half dozen good players showcasing this amazing little game.

    It's been a while since I used Nitrado.  And with the changes to Ylands, it just doesn't function in the same way.

    Problem 1 (of probably many to come) I can't seem to upload.  Please don't tell me this is a nitrado problem, not a BI problem.  

    I want to upload an explore map, but it's had some scripting to add things I want for my players.  The file functions. But it is an exploration map, not a scenario map.   Nitrado will only let me upload a scenario.

    Is there a way I am not seeing to export this exploration map as a scenario?

    Ylands claims to be a game builder.  You can make any game you want. Unless that game is exploration. Then things get weird and funky.

I tried it a different way and was able to purchase them with my paypal. so thank you. i will note, however that had my first request for help a few months ago been responded to by the dev team, I would have learned this earlier. as it stands, it took another player to help me. thanks again

    i finally got in. the page itself was timing out. 

    also, as far as i know my accounts are linked. i was trying to log in using my login from the forum. i wouldnt have any idea how else to do it.

    Yes, I know.  But making it hard to buy is not.  Please try to keep up.

    @Miguel Preguisa you stated it very well.  The game started out as a quiant little game. The graphics were chunky and beautiful.  The music was mesmerizing.  It had issues to be sure.  Sailing on a ship was a clear death sentence.  But there was a reason to sail.  

    The early spawn was a little dangerous, but there was reason to explore. You needed the resources you could find there.  The old cave system was so much different.  You had to really work on being able to get in and find your way out.  All along the way there was death and accomplishment.  Now, meh.

    Thank you, @belrathius.  I have invested time, money and frustration into this game.  I love the community, but it's hard to maintain when they don't have a good server to play on.  I have been a server admin for nearly two years with P1, and for nearly 3 years privately.  I won't go into the details, but I have spent my own money, I do not monetize to offset.  I have purchased several copies as gifts, and have supported this game in every way I can.  But if I can't host a server, it really is a waste of my time and resources. We were told "soon" for nitrado.  We are nearly a year out.  I paid for three months of nitrado twice in that time hoping "soon" was going to happen.  Those six month's were wasted.  I can't even get the option now with nitrado, and BI servers are not user friendly.

    I have to assume that y'all don't care that much about us being able to host.  I just set up a verified account as a Creator Club member.  Why can't I also pay for my server this way?  Why can't I buy coyns directly from Steam?

    I understand (not really but let's say it's true) that you can't say when or if nitrado is going to be able to host.  But you control the BI rented servers. Why are you making the process so difficult.  Let me explain to you.  In order to pay for them, I have to have money on my steam wallet.  Which means, for me that I have to physically go down to a local store that sells steam cards. We are in a global pandemic, I don't know if you've heard.  It's one more trip out, I am not going to make.

    The fix is easy.  Really it is.  Allow for purchasing directly from the presumably secure server I just paid my Creator Club membership from.  Really, it's that easy.  Rent Gold Server for 3 months.  Put in an option. 

    If I can't at least get an acknowledgement from this post, I will assume I am right.  I will stop trying to host this pathetic game. @Aleš Ulm

    Just trying to host is problematic.  I have several posts out there explaining why.   It all goes unacknowledged much less fixed. And now today, after the drop of 1.4 Creator Club, I can't log in to the workshop. I can't buy the creator club membership. I can't host on Nitrado.  And to host on the BI servers is just too hard.  I have suggested fixes.  They are ignored.

    We had a game about exploring a world.  But the devs think adding stickers is what we want.  I want the navigation birds back. I want to NOT see the next island over.  I want ships to be fundamental to the game.  Now, you never ever need to build one. 

    It is so far from what I want, I only check in because I have a lot of hours and money invested.  I can't even imaging being able to spend hours in the new game. @Aleš Ulm take a fresh look at the early days.  Look at the Kirales videos. That's the game I fell in love with.  Now add stability.
