    Hi, Before I answer your questions could I suggest that the next time you'd put bug reports and questions and suggestions in separate posts? Thanks! 1 - a lot of ship-related issues have been fixed in the upcoming update so I'd suggest you try it once it's out (it shouldn't be long) 2 - I would have to see a screenshot to see what you mean 3 - this, unfortunately, isn't enough information for us to see what's going on. Could you please attach the save game with your house so that we can take a look at it? 4 - you mean that after you've sailed on a ship enemies can't hit you? 5 - we'll look into that Q - no, there isn't, but we're planning to add something like that in future

    On terraforming...

    Thanks for the feedback, guys. We're very much aware that terraforming is far from perfect and we plan on improving it until it is (or at least until it's close enough). The problem is that there is no "perfect fix" that would work for every single situation. Instead, we keep fixing specific situations and corner cases (many times other factors than just terraforming itself is causing the problem). So to improve this as soon as possible we need as much help from you as we can get Whenever something doesn't behave the way you expect it to - tells us right away. Don't spend a long time trying to find a workaround for something that we should be fixing. Post it here, let us worry about that and in the meantime try doing something else :). Here's how you could help us with this - whenever you encounter place where terraforming doesn't work as expected, please capture a picture (or even a video!), post it here (or anywhere on the forum) along with a description and please attach your game as well because most of the times just looking at the picture doesn't give us enough info to understand what causes the problem. We are extremely grateful for any kind of feedback from you - especially whenever something in the game makes you upset... So thanks, Michal!

    Thanks, we'll check this right away! EDIT: Also as Ane said we're doing some changes to animal AI in 0.4 (basically it's being rewritten from scratch - so hopefully many of the annoying issues will be gone. On the other hand, some new issues may appear but those will be quickly dealt with as the new system will give us much more control over the AI)

    The new way of respawning will be available in the upcoming update 4.0 (ETA 2 - 3 weeks) - if something unexpected/new happens before that then it's probably a bug

    In near future (hopefully, fingers crossed :)) we plan to perform some changes so that you would be able to see ylands on the horizon from a long distance. We believe that would make sailing easier (and exploration more fun).

    Speaking of respawning - you might want to check the latest Sneak peek we've just posted. Feel free to (actually, I encourage you to! ) keep this discussion alive, though. The upcoming solution is just meant to make the dying less annoying for you with a very simple (and probably temporary) change - in order to implement something more sophisticated (quite possibly based on some of your ideas), something we will be sure would be good enough to stay in the game for a long time, we will need more time so in the meantime ... keep 'em coming!

    Hi there, fellow ylanders. As you probably know, the upcoming update 0.4 is called Stylish Sharing and it will let you share your creations in a stylish way! We are really excited about this and we just can’t wait to tell you something about it... some other time. Because today I want to talk about upcoming features, changes and tweaks that may seem small, but that we consider important. So let’s begin! * “Character glow” - some of you probably noticed, that whenever you have a Creator Cube item equipped, it emits a subtle greenish ylandium-induced light around the character. Well, many of you were complaining that during the nights it was too dark for you to perform any actions or find your way around (even more so in caves when you lost your light source). Well, starting with the upcoming update your character will emit a subtle light every time there’s darkness around them. It will be enough for you to make out your immediate surroundings so you will know what is the item you stand next to (as you probably would in real life) and carefully move to some lit area or try to locate a light source. On the other hand the night will remain dark (and full of terrors) so you better think twice before you leave that cozy campfire behind. * Farming and growing your own crops / plants - lot of players find already fun in growing their own stuff but we feel that doing so should be more rewarding. If you’re into farming, you will probably like what’s coming with the next update. Toadstool hero contemplating while the sun sets over the sea. Author unknown, ca. 1830 * Crafting - we keep improving how crafting works. In 0.4 you will see couple of GUI improvements - most notably a new feature, that will let you quickly see how even the ingredients for a selected item can be crafted. * Ships - there will be a lot of ship-related issues fixed (mostly MP ones), but one thing that probably will stand out a lot is that your ship will continue sailing even when you let go off the helm, which will make traveling way more fun. Who are we to stop you from setting a course and making your voyage shorter by reading one of the great books? * Violence - let’s face it, there are builders, there are explorers and yes, there are fighters. Whether you fight just to survive out there in the wilderness or you slay your enemies to become the feared champion - we want to make the combat as enjoyable as possible. The thing is we believe that fighting doesn’t have to be a gory visceral messy business to be fun. Recently we went over what combat feels like and we feel that there are things where we could do better, more true to what we feel is appropriate for Ylands. As a result, starting with 0.4 you may notice that the combat will (both when it comes to visuals and sounds) become a bit more cartoon-ish. On a slightly related note - although it won’t happen in the upcoming update, this feels like a good enough place to mention that in the near future we plan to implement a parental lock that will let parents make sure their kids experience Ylands the way they feel is the best.     Hm, that's very unfortunate - I'm really sorry to hear this happened to you Could you send us the save game? We would use it to improve the unstuck feature so that you would be able to continue playing it without starting a new one?

    Ehm... can you please stop reading our minds, Melle? This is definitely something I feel we need to have in the game! At this point I'm not able to give you any time estimate, but I've been planning to add something like that for months now - so yes, that thing will definitely happen!
