I think there needs more attention to this bug that seems to commonly arise. When my friends and i are trying to join each others game being hosted it sometimes throws an host unreachable error message then boots the connector from the server regardless of load percentage. We've tested out creating two servers(worlds) from my end. Everyone connects fine the first go through and can reconnect with no problems for a time being. Variables that i've noticed that were at play during reconnection issue. Eventually i tried logging out and waiting for my world to save for a good 5 minutes then was forced to force close the game due to some sort of freezing while saving. I reloaded immediately after to check for any data loss and it appeared to be fine. Later in the day my friend attempted to join and was met with this error. On world two i left the server open to the public and during a player join my friends experience an alteration in game hud while the game froze during the entering. After the game unfroze my friend decided to relog to fix the gui issue and was met with host reachable. And alas we come to our final world. My friend hosted a server and during an attempt to reset the server, to display the unlocked yet still undisplayed schematics in crafting inventory, i was met with the host unreachable error. Conclusion, it seems that improper / untimely crashes and errors during resets cause sometime of error preventing further connections from client side of hosted servers.

I can't craft the sewing kit on official MP. When I click craft it returns "Failed." I have the required supplies.

I amcurrently in the middle of the ocean sailing and every direction I turn it pops up the message stating nothing is in that direction and to turn around. this happens even when facing any direction.

Hello guys! Lets start with that, I have bought the game yesterday. It worked fine on ultra/very high settings. Today I wanted to play Ylands again. So I am launching settings and just out of curiosity turned options down to high to see how it will affect overall performance. I hit start button and to my surprise game is stuck on the window with black screen and (not responding) label next to it. After 10 minutes I have tried to relaunch it with normal settings this time. Sadly it ended up with the same story. So I tried to relaunch it again and this time game settings window won't show up, but the game still proceeds to the "black screen phase". I tried to: - Run game as an administrator. - Run steam as an administrator. - Verify Ylands files. - Completely reinstall it several times. - Reboot my pc. Please guys help me!

I dont think anyone can help me with my topic about my game starting in a little white box en freezing on startup so i make an other one in here with the qeustion How do i ge tthe config screen back when you open te game. My game freezes on start up. So i cant find an option folder, and reinstalling the game and i even reinstalled steam didnt do the job... the game did work just fine when it wasnt on steam on the free alpha. Sorry for my english. Major boat bug, UPLOADED IT TO YOUTUBE : this happens while jumping in a boat in front of a mast, the boat will sink and you will die! Please fix this, ME and my friend lost everything.

sometimes trees are not felling / or been left hanging in mid air.

I can't connect to most official servers. On some of them it gets stuck in the loading animation with the text on top that says breeding hogs and stuff and on some after loading the map on recalling buildings.. i can play fine on private servers. On one of them Official server 22 NA it says my account is already logged in since yesterday. Thank you

I Played with my friend together, we tryed to build a house, but the problem was, that the Wood was there, but no Pic of it and i could not grab it, so it freezed or so, but the game worked just fine, everytime we restart the server, after 5 mins, its happening again so, we cant play, pls fix that, if you need more information just tell me, thx

Hi, I've played the game for around 10 hours now, and I've noticed a few things. Firstly, I have fallen through the world a few times. Second, and most importantly, I have found that, upon filling the inventory, items disappear from the inventory and cannot be accessed. I will include images of my problem. If you notice, the seeds below my hammer are floating in some other realm. It still shows that I have 42 of the seeds in my inventory (3rd column, third row) but I can't get them back unless I relog. While this isn't a huge deal, I would really like to see this fixed in the future. I'll still play whether or not you decide to fix this, but if you do, I will be eternally grateful.

Hi, I hosted a Game and a friend connected but then his internet crashed. His Player stayed on my Server and I can't build on him. I could kill the leftover player but now the player lays dead on the ground. Even after I closed the game and continued the old save. the player is still there. output_log.txt output_log_clean.txt savegame.rar

My game sounds are working perfectly fine, but that is the only thing that is currently working when I launch the game. It's as if it is not launching my game but i do hear the music from the menu. Anyone with the same issue or related to mine? I already tried launching steam in admin mode, veryfing game files, restarting pc. Everything used to work just fine before the last update. Current version where problem occured: Version: 0.6.41974

Hello, I just got the DS Server Monitor from Ane, THANK YOU! But I can't find anywhere what ports I need to open, what ports are being used... I found a little something refering port 21005, but I wasn't sure. I know how to open ports, linking them to my local IP but for the life of me I can't find what ports to open for the DS Ylands Server Monitor. When creating a new session, I was given no choice to pick ports. Hopefully someone can tell what ports I need to open. Thank You

Hello, i was wondering where i would put the files for my friends save game so i can continue on it, because when he shared it i got the file, but have zero clue where to put the file on my side, and when i try to play on his saved game (when he is offline but shared me the file) it says unavailable. SO where do i put his file, i cant find a saved game file location, and i am using Steam..

After I got the free trial I bought the full game on steam but because of the trial it says content locked and I can't install the full game that I just had bought I think they need to delete the trial from my account so I can download the full game from steam.

Installed the game twice. Tried to launch the game normally and as admin. There is a flash of a message that says "game launching." Nothing happens. No other indications. Running Windows task manager shows no YLands game. No indications from internet security.

When I first installed the game I started it, got a quick error and then it disappeared before I could read it. When the main menu opened, I noticed it had a different background picture. It had all the buttons and the title but the picture was all pink. When I tried to start an exploration game the character didn't popup but the character editing gui did. I decided to close the game restart it and when I restarted the pc I had to reinstall it for some reason. I got back into the game and nothing changed, I actually started a game and when I got in the hearts and gui at the bottom were both mirrored. and the rest of the screen was black with an occasional green flash. It appears that I can still move around once in game because of the occasional "Pick up sticks" or something and footstep sounds. I just bought the game off of steam. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling and I got the same outcome.

Hello, Currently the placement of the default ship ladders is pretty bad. The ladders on both hulls are asymmetrical, the right ladder being placed more to the front of the ship. Besides this, on the small ship the left ladder is placed a bit above the hull: But most important, I would like to have the ability to remove the ladder within 2 minutes of spawning the hull. Currently the only other way is by using explosives, which damage the hull which can't be repaired at the moment. The ladders don't fit the majority of my ships. I understand they are rather useful, so like I said, please make them removable for a certain amount of time. I think that putting the climb option on the right click and the remove option on the radial menu would work, so you can still climb it to get on board in those first few minutes without accidentally removing it.
