  1. ok so I was continuing to build my ship and sometimes i make a mistake in the design and remove blocks with the hammer whilst being inside my barrier. Today i accidentally destroyed some of my ship floor and when i tried to fix it, the game just kept telling me "there isn't enough space" which there is but i've no idea why it's telling me this. Is this a bug or something else? This is in exploration experimental.
  2. Hello, me and some friends noticed that with some side to side movement you are able to glitch through walls and doors on ships (and most likely on land as well). You are also able to do this by going under the ship and swimming straight up (if the ship is close to the ground). I'm assuming there's some kind of collision issue going on and it makes security nigh impossible.

  7. First serious game breaking bug I’ve encountered (except for starvation of course). Im currently playing on ‘Sinking Ylands (US-NYC 1)’ I did sailed my steamboat to shore and did my usual routine of padlocking my helm. Once I returned to my ship, I was surprised to find that ‘The Key Does not match’ error. I definitely have the correct key in my possession. The only thing I can think of is that on entering the map, my padlock has had its Lock ID value reset maybe? I am currently in possession of a ship that I can no longer edit or control.

I started playing the new 1.5 experimental exploration on Steam for a few hours yesterday and now when I try hop back on it makes me start a new game when I click on the button for exploration (experimental). I can actually see my save in the recently played games section but when I click on it I still get prompted to start a new exploration save. The save file is in the Steam > SaveGames folder on my PC too. I didn't use this Delete Progress feature at all. So I follow the prompts anyway and when it loads the new game I have my original character and inventory back but with what appears to be a newly generated map. It has spat me out at sea in a random location on the raft I had been using prior to exiting the session yesterday. I also have acquired the "I am not ready yet" bug and cannot eat and strangely can't reload my corn rifle. I quit this session and exit the game. I relaunch Ylands and now when I click on exploration it instantly loads up this newly generated map with my old character in it. Even when I click on my old original save, it still launches this new save. I'm not sure how to upload the save files if that would help at all? output_log_clean.txt output_log.txt DxDiag.txt
  9. So while making my game for the BI competition, I noticed a pretty annoying bug: Lets say you have a player role you spawn in as and have 3 skills equipped to that role. Naturally, you spawn in with all 3 of those skills in your skill hot bar. Now, when you spawn in as a player role that has NO skills attached to it, and enter a trigger zone that has the following tiles: Only one of those skills appears in the hotbar: The same thing happens if you have in that trigger zone the tile that allows you to change player roles (a role containing skills). Because of this, I believe this is a bug. I would like to get a person from the ylands teams opinion on this please.
  10. The move to inventory tile (combined with an event listener that sees if something leaves the inventory) sometimes duplicates the items instead. It seems to have trouble with the whole stack or individual items that don't stack. If it is part of a stack, it works as normal.
  11. Every now and then, when I'm editing my scripts, the zoom function just stops working and sometimes will randomly return, but a lot of the time it won't. It's rather frustrating as some of my scripts are pretty large. I'm posting it to try and see if it could be any problem on my end. Thanks!
  12. So I have been having multiple problems with the game timing me out. I mainly play on YWD servers. Journey to the 12 Kingdoms and Origins. There is now a 5th server for Origins that is only listed in multiplayer lobby (Nitrado server) Anyhow when it goes to time me out or I see the spinning wheel of death...I wait for it to bring me back to the main screen, and sometimes it never occurs. I end up closing the program with task manager when this happens. It just happened again so I decided to come here and attach the input/output logs, but guess what? They aren't in the folder for the time played. I don't always have to close the program this way, but thought you might want to be aware. When it odes timeout again and closes properly I will send you the logs. It's been crashing so much lately that I will add the logs here soon when it does occur again.....fair warning, since the update this has happened so much I think you will be seeing a lot of these logs. (With the exception of the logs that do not save)
  13. Particles on items and characters not work after patch 1.4.0 or 1.4.1 (only on dedicated server,?) In editor and editor test work correctly.
  14. When i use remove code to remove player's skill, i found it not work, player still could use the skill. I log all the skill belong player. console says the skill still here. So can you guys know this code is work good? Tomorrow I will send a video here for this problem.
  15. I can rename the new pets in game, but when I leave the Ylands program it always resets the name to the default name called 'Pets Screen'. All of my older pets that I had named are still ok, with their original names.
  16. when the suit shoes are equipped to an npc or player, they are normal, however, when they are spawned as an item, The black on the shoes is replaced with the cyan coloring of the shoe laces.
  17. When playing on my server on the same network and my friend dies and respawns back on the first island in exploration, she is in the prone position the entire time afterwards. Also seemed to happen when I temporarily lost internet to my PC as she tried to leave and come back but it showed me as offline even though we had been playing long after the internet drop and reconnect.   18. I was told to report bugs here with the output log files. Basically the common problem we are getting is invisible items not showing up while harvesting. Mainly occurs for other players and not usually the host. It's fixed if the players relog into the server but after a brief while it happens again. Also we would sometimes encounter our own avatars being invisible as well. Sometimes with the items being invisible, they actually are in the inventory but then gets overlapped by another item and replaces / glitches the item and causing an item to disappear. This started when we started to explore more islands and it's gotten a bit unplayable for us.   19. запускаю значит "исследование" и через мин 5-10 игра зависает и не отвечает, миниигры работают стабильно, на острове 1-го уровня еще как-то можно было играть и зависала игра не так часто, а когда приплыл на 2, то игра начала очень часто зависать и не отвечать, я все перепробовал: менял графику, переустанавливал игру и.т.д помогите пж

Hello, I have a little problem since the game update 1.2 the bug starts when I start the game loading goes much faster than normal then after it tells me "FATAL LOGIN ERROR" you could look at the error with the image below, the game this leaves I also put under my output_log and output_log_clean files thank you in advance for your answer output_log.txt output_log_clean.txt
  21. At the moment the ground above and around caves is invisible to sunlight. Light shines in and lights up the cave, you see the shadows of any creature on the ground above. I may be mistaken but I thing this happened before after an update.

  23. Hi, Sun and Moon are back, night looks wonderful! Now I can do something useful at night. Also, new biom is really very pretty and tea is what I needed! Maybe tea would make us faster in crafting for a change? It would be nice. At last katana is back!! I'm playing adventure mode, as always I'd like to help you finding few bugs: There are still big problems with trading: -NPCs in many cases never show up. -When they show up, after one trade they leave and never return. There is no usual sign "I will be back..." also. -NPCs still start menu with bundles opened first. -After first succesful deal, next deal is always broken: choosing 4 first items for sale is ok, but 5th always "freak out" and you cannot change amount and eventually NPC doesn't respond to another try. -Fighting combos need a bit of fixing in my opinion. Many times, when fighting I'm accidentally destroying half of dropped items, because combos do not stop, just chop again and again. Maybe you could somehow set dropped items, like hide, pelts and meet to be indestructible during the fight? Or set some king of cooldown timer, so items can be destroyed after few seconds after being spawned? Right now in many cases I tend to kill aggressive animal and destroy hide and meet.
