For now the rain will only have an effect on the temperature (as in, whenever it rains, it'll get colder), not on the character.

You can use a shovel or the Terraformer tool (which is not available in the Explore mode).

You cannot craft gunsmithing tools anymore, you need to craft expert tools instead. For those you need an iron chisel, a screwdriver, an iron hammer and leather. I hope that helped!

And as for this, you can download a tutorial level in our Workshop (https://ylands.net/asset/8) that should teach you the basics of the game and help you get started You also have a Codex available in the game (F1 by default) with several tips regarding the various features in Ylands. And if in doubt, you can always ask here!

We are aware of the freezing issues and are dedicating a lot of our time/effort into looking into it. You can definitely expect big improvements in the next update

Hello! It's not possible to convert a Creative game or one made in the Editor into an Explore game, unfortunately. But we released a hotfix today ( https://ylands.com/community/topic/1343-04-stylish-sharing-07062017/?do=findComment&comment=6467 ) that might have fixed your issue with the corrupted saves. Let us know if it's not the case.

This should be fixed in the hotfix we just released: Can you please let me know if you're still having issues?

The game is not officially on Steam yet, but whoever buys it now will automatically have it on Steam once we get there (sometime this Fall).
