I do recommend to avoid this by getting enough resources and food and setting sail another yland. Dear go no, i don't want the mange ... apart from that if you tried to ride ( a tamed one) probably would just call up in a ball. -
They mention something like using their coyns for services in the Monetization FAQ Renting servers ETA: later during the Steam Early Access period Players can rent official servers to host games and persistent worlds for them and their friends with coyns.

On my server there is 2 cannons like this, everytime someone loads in near it, it throws and exception error on the console, so its a bug.. ive already sent the devs a notice about it -

I think PETA would like a word with you, seriously though don't like the idea of killing whales when they a just passive creatures.. Maybe they can be in place aesthetically in a spot for deep diving sites or similar. there are plenty of other dangerous sea creatures of the deep.. just google creatures of the deep and Marianas Trench for spooks Also going deep in oceans has pressure problems, so maybe make deep diving have a pressure element to it, so you don't get crush under the weight of the water. like real life. this will add more progression content for ocean treasures. -
It would have to be indestructable to other players like Protective barrier, or anyone could up with it and move it somewhere else to troll you, but i like the idea.

I'd say using a painter of some sort should be able to change the colour, similar to painting walls etc. just an idea. -

I made the DS during the 0.6.2 Update, so the 0.6.3 might have a bug with it. I usually shutdown the server wait for the process to end and disappear, copy the save to my pc make sure ylands is not running ( as it will not detect the save if its running ) copy the save to /steam/userdata/<numberstring>/298610/remote/SaveGames/ load up ylands > editor> open chose games, server title will appear > select > open Do what i have to do > File > save > Exit without saving when closing editor > close program reverse steps to copy the file on server, reboot DS.

Translation: ( google translateed ) How does Ylands use dedicated server software that is available for download in steam? I downloaded the software, but when I opened it, I can not do anything. Does anyone know how to use this? The steam dedicated server wont be functional without some code, you need to find the forum section that lets you do this, otherwise it won't work. Also that steam version is very new so I'm not sure myself, prior to this everything was using command line. -
Im using DS and do daily editor edits for corpses and works just fine..

My Profile pic went through not problem, although its a jpg size is 0.43KB, when trying to upload pictures some worked some didn't But i couldn't chose where to place the pictures or an order.. So i just use the URL option for pictures now, seems to work.

I can see the fun in this, fog-horn sounds cool, would only be useful in MP servers though But the second option is not bad either

I did mention in quotes, " ( These areas have now been cleaned up by me in the editor, ) " so your place should be ok again, unless someone got to it again. -
I for one am for modding, only if its done right. Also the game has only come to Early Access very recently, It's even recommended for now to stay away from public servers, private servers with friends is ok. Once they reach 1.0 then they might consider external modifications, but i would rather they get to 1.0 rather than focusing on other things. Soon they will be adding very basic NPC's that eventually you can script, but its early steps still.

Yes having the map save to the character at logout would be great, so that 1) you don't have to remap everything 2) you can see where you have traveled 3) navigate back home if you randomly appear somewhere. Alternatively, what i do is when i travel i place my map in the hot-bar on screen, open it once before i travel yland or across seas, when I'm just about to logout, on the map, screenshot revealed areas. I now have some idea where i have been. At least till the map issue has been resolved or a fix of some kind.

This sounds like a great idea, friends helping friends, either by a party mechanic in-game or steam friends I do think such a system would get put in eventually. here's hoping -
