It would be amazing if the game had a dedicated minimap in one of the corners of the screen rather than having to switch over to the paper map in the hotbar.

I'm trying to figure out how to load a existing map for a hosting session. It seems currently I can host a private server on my machine for my friend and I however when we are done it saves it to only the single player session. Is there a way to save our map so that we can reload and play when I host again after the initial time?

Hello Guys, While in creative mode I made a mistake with Stone blocks, and since it's a pain in the back to destroy stone blocks in survival mode (140+ hits) I opened the map in the editor mode, removed the stone blocks and saved, but when I try to log in to play in survival mode, the game keep loading the map in editor mode, so I was wondering if there's a way to convert the map back to survival mode. Can anyone help me? Thanks

I wish there was a keybinding "M" if you have a map in your inventory. If you don't have it, you could just get a message saying "There is no map in your inventory" or something like that. Please

I would suggest making it possible to zoom out a lot more then we currently can do. Being able to see your whole ship when commanding it would be a whole lot more practical and visualy appealing. . At the moment it isn't possible to see the top of the mast, and your ship never fits the screen. I would also strongly suggest that a further zoom should be applied to the map, as of now you have to drag your mouse several times to find a previous visted yland, losing your orientation in the process. A better scale in my opinion would be if you could at least see the border of neighbouring yland when fully zoomed out in the mapscreen. 30+hrs in this game and as of yet don't regret a single dime I spend on it. Keep up the great work you devs are doing.

On the maps you should be able to put waypoints so it makes it easier to find places special later on.

just wondering what is the plan for explorer mod map size will it change? as of now it seems like there is about 8-12 islands correct me if i'm wrong. cuz i really wish the islands where infinite love to explorer

In multiplayer, the map doesn't save on clients. Every time I rejoin the game, the map gets reset. This doesn't appear to affect the host. This is almost game-breaking to me because not being able to progress my map exploration is such a letdown. Please prioritize this highly.

Hi guys! So I died and of course that means I only had the previous map left. The no new terrain is mapped on the map with the new character - not sure if that is also a bug or that is intended behaviour. However what is definitely a bug is that if I craft a new map, terrain will not start mapping on it until I reload the save, and then of course, being a new map, has nothing revealed. First I would love for the new map bug to be fixed, but also as a feature request one of these: 1. Either allow us to continue mapping with the old map. 2. Or allow us to combine the old and new map - "learning" what my predecessor discovered and adding it to my new map. Thanks!

I just noticed the whole world is made of czech republics. While looking at the map there was a net of shape looking exactlly as czech republic. Some complete, sometimes just a piece. Bravo. Nice little easteregg I love it. Now I want clothes of castle guards in game.

It would be very convenient to add a little "You are here" dot to the maps. Also, an error happens when you leave a server and rejoin, your map gets wiped with exception of your first spawn location and where you show up when you join.

Hello, First of all i'm loving the game, still has a lot of bugs and things that could be better, but i think this game is in the same level has minecraft ( but better ). Well i have a sugestion regarding the MAP. My problem: I have lost the way to my first spawn island . That's right i dont have a clue where it is anymore. Why you ask? Well i was exploring another island with a Map in my inventory and this was my way to go back to the first island. But the worst happened i died inside a cavern with a lot of stuff that i want. This is a ice island so i couldnt get back to my body because i was naked. I would lose health and there was no way to do this naked. So i thinked well ill get back to my first island and make another fur pants ,boots, jacket. Crafted another map and my previous knowledge in the other map was gone. Sugestion: Every time you craft a map, should apear the islands and paths taken in previous trips. Now im wandering the oceon trying to find the island and i can´t i only see new islands but the one i want is gone. Sugestion 2: Coordinates. You should implemente some kind of compass or GPS system . Thx
