  1. To be as brief as possible, when I host a game for my friend to join, a slot in my inventory breaks for the session as soon as he connects. When he disconnects, I lose another slot. Both times I have experienced this, I have died while playing after he leaves, and cannot access any storage or crafting stations when I respawn. Reloading the same save has the issue persist, and thus the world is unplayable. I apologize, but I am unable to attach the logs at this time.
  2. Hi, I played constantly from the day I bought the game about week ago, game sometimes stopped for a while (maybe once a day) and then suddenly was working again. Today, after whole day of playing, game constantly crashes... "Application is not responding. Would you like to close the application It's about 2-3 minutes after load... :((( I suppose you need and log? Where to find it? I have nothing working in the background, no antivirus - absolutelly nothing except Steam... Game was perfectly stable until few hours ago...   3. Dear Yland team, I was playing later this evening when I was swimming trough my ship. I somehow got sucked into the world like an endless fall and now i can open my lvl and make a new character, but after that the game doesnt load anymore and I cant get in my game. It stops at 65% loading. Does anyone know what to do?? I hope there is an solution cause i really like the game and was playing already 65 hours. Thanks Kind regards Remco
  4. While playing in survival mode I found a small cabin. Exasperated at attempting to build I decided to call it quits. I clicked on the bed and laid on it and exited the game, it indicated that it would save my progress. Eager to play the next day, I selected the game and it created a new character! I'd lost all my inventory items, ran to the cabin and my original character was in the bed sleeping! It was like multi-player! LOL. Anyway sad to lose all that progress. On another note, any instructions on building? It's extremely difficult even in creative mode, I mean it's so hard to place items and most people that like to build in games are perfectionists. Thank you for working on this game it has great potential.
  5. Hi, I have found a few new bugs: 1) Big stuck in the wall problem. You cannot move through horizontal space 5 bricks high, but It is possible to jump into it or use ladders to do it. So, you can move there, but you cannot move out or jump out of the trap! You cannot duck, so, the only way is to demolish bricks above your head and/or bricks below you - only then you are able to jump out. I realized that bug in one of the abandon hunting house (that one with horns in frons and two ladders). There is space exactly 5 bricks high and I already, was stucked there for 4-5 times. I was lucky and had a good axe with me, however you CANNOT AIM at bricks directly above you or directly below you, so you have to destroy everything close to you and wish for luck! Please, try to add an exception allowing you to move out from any brick (stone/tree?), just for any case. Maybe option to crawl/bend your knees (maybe also to move quiet?) whould be useful? 2) Some trees after being sawed off are still unreachable. These are there, but you cannot hit them, even if you stand just beside it on "in it". Digging out lost part of the tree changes nothing. This happens mostly when one tryy have two roots: palms and birches. It seems that all depends on rotation of the fallen tree? 3) Some plants, esp. dried ones are still invisible to player - it's there, but I cannot reach it even standing on it. 4) After chopping trees on mass, very often parts are hungin in in the air - because tree being there before was removed. I can jump or build temporal ramp to get it, but there is bigger problem: 5) There are still situations when during digging out any resources parts of soil/triangular shapes are hinging in the air. Sometimes you can reach these with picks sometimes with spades, but mostly you cannot do anything, because you cannot aim pick, spade or shovel so high. I tried axes, swords or hands too - nothing helps. Very annoying. BTW. see next point, please. 6) Most of the tools have ranges of "aiming", however these are awkwards sometimes: You cannot aim with your spear! Spears are and should be long and could reach angry animals above you or below you (that happens very often because I'm always trying to climb a tree, my sheds od any higround. Spear is useless as other weapons in these cases - the only way is projectile weapons. Please, correct it. Additionally larger area of targetting would help with reaching and destroying objects "levitating" in the air as sticks, wood pieces, soil and so on... You cannot aim with weapons, axes, picks or spades directly obove your head and below your head. This is maybe realistic, but if you are stuck in bricks or trying to reach levitating objects - you're screwed. I'm always trying to reach bricks and objects I'm trapped in in first person view. 7) I'm not sure if it was ment to work this way (this is certainly realistic), but one day I fell of the cliff on my small boat. I died, but the boat flipped upside down. I couldn't control it, of course (which is realistic too), however it was biiiig loss for me at the time. It there any way, including cheats, to flip my boat right way again? 8) What happened to drying racks?? Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but it would be very useful to dry fish, meat and fruits, additionally it would be good way to make hay of grass. If you removed drying racks from the game, please - make it back. It would be very nice to make it possible to have better food without fire. And... some more diversity. How could I make hay!? I have tons of grass and I'd like to make roofs for my sheds... :(( All the best, Bartosz Radziszewski
  6. is there a bug or something? I set up a multiplayer game for my friend and i to play. played for a few hours, quit to main menu and it said it would save progress. The screen is stuck on saying 'saving in progress'. it's been like that for half an hour. Does that mean the game is lost? there's a bug? can i close the game down or is that a bad idea.....
  7. Hello! I mentioned in another post how some blocks were duplicated in the editor as if an older save was merged with the current save. I have a save file with a prime example now so you can see what I mean. I saved the game at some point with part of the hull painted white. I then changed some blocks around the mast area, like adding a door, and re-painted most of the hull in a brown-ish color. As you can see in the save file, the paint has been reverted to the white paintjob and the mast area has both the layout from the save with the white paintjob and the layout from the new paintjob at the same time, with blocks glitching in to eachother. I just thought I'd share this before I continue and delete the duplicate stuff. The extention has been changed to .txt to be able to upload. Just change it to .yland. SHIP_2_.txt
  8. Hi there I found and issue when the game crashes in crafting window. When i already had unlocked the large Ship and not having the main craftingcomponents (logs, planks, nails) in inventory and then search for "ship"or scroll down in the list to it, the game crashes. However, it will NOT crash if you have some logs, planks and nails in your inventory. Not sure if this issue might happen with other items but i would keep the basic crafting components for the desired item in inventory to prevent crashes hope that helps
  9. Buildings on boats dont keep out the rain or snow. I'm sure this is probably not intended to work this way? Is there some sort of in game work around to trick it into thinking it's enclosed? On land you seem to only need a roof, walls dont seem too important unless you're trying to sleep

  11. After logging back into my solo game it asked me to make a new character. Assuming I had died I ran back to where I was and found my character still standing there. Can't switch between them either, bummer to lose all those crafting recipes. output_log.txt output_log_clean.txt

    RESOLVED Pointers gone wild

    Hi, Let me tell you something that happened yesterday, as my ship was enchored near an island I just ended up exploring. I was jumping on the ship deck, trying to attach a lantern on the mast, when suddently I found myself high above the word -without drinking any potion. Time to realize "look, I'm flying !", I was falling down, scratching on my ship, and stupidly diying. Hopfully, my character spawned back in the same island, and I began to run for my life toward the ship. I had just reached the ladder, nearly dead from frost, I held it in my hands and... suddently I was at the top of another ladder, one of a cabin at the deep end of the island -and once more diying, freezed to ice. One more time respawning, running for my life as I was naked, hunted by wild grey wolves, reached a hunting cabin, holded the ladder to go up safe, and ... finding myself suddently onboard of my ship. Time to say "flee", I raise the anchor and sail home. Once in the middle the sea, my ship collides a floating wreck. Guess what ? a computer ! I finaly reached home, with a computer in my bag, turned off my -real- computer, and go to bed for real. That's what we can call a fantastic-randomly-generated-adventure! God save the bugs ! - and the developpers that set respawning on the same island... PS : Unhappily, I have no log for that session and everithing was back to normal this morning, so you may consider this just for the record and use it as another context for the common issue "Ladders teleporting players to odd places". output_log.txt output_log_clean.txt

  14. I searched but maybe my search wasn't good enough. So my issue was I was sailing my normal sized ship. Not the little boat. So I was sailing and then I realized I needed to log off so I did. That was last night at about 10:30PM EST. It is now 5:40PM EST the next day. I logged on but when I did i see i'm in the water... a shark is eating me and my ship is sailing away. Needless to say I died when it finally gave me control. Pretty upsetting.
  15. Hi, On my seacond boat, the stairs acted very weird. They teleported me to the stairs on my other boat. When i broke the stairs on the other ship and tried again it dropped me out of the world and I died. Then I tried the stairs on the other side of the ship and it worked. After arriving at a new island where i never been before, the polar island, and trying to use the ladder to get back up to the ship when it got cold, I droppen to the bottom of the world again and I spawned at my first Island........... Not fun.
  16. Came down from the stairs and got stuck between the Railing and Ceiling as seen on the image. Tried breaking the Floor above me, but was'nt able to select it. Only the parts around it. Had to wait till i died to get unstuck.
  17. Hello, How do you unlink account. I linked my account so i could get the extra coins that were being offered. After linking i did not get coins. As well i could not use my current name since it was already taken by my steam name. Now i have no extra coins and now have a different in game name. Please help on unlinking account so i can go back to my old name and use what ever my steam name is set for.
  18. Gamemode: singleplayer, exploration. The ship was all ready fitted with some containers and other free placed blocks, as well as some on grid, when I loaded my save file. So then I placed all sorts of things on my ship. Wooden boxes (on grid), sacks (free placed), barrels (free placed) and some decorations (bear trophy, some books and candles, a seashell jar (with inventory) and a pigment jar (empty). I then sailed around a bit enjoying this glorious game before I quit and went to bed. When I logged in today the ship was reverted to a previous state. Basically what I think happened is that everything but the composition (the ship grid) was saved. So the map was updated with the latest discoveries, my inventory was as i left it.. The ship was even parked where i left it, but all the stuff I had added to the ship was gone... Most of it was containers... containing everything I had grinded for the last couple of days ?? Can't wait to do it again though! Love this game! I am guessing you removed the possibility of editing an exploration game file with the editor to avoid dealing with corrupted saves due to "spectacular editing".. It would have been handy to recover my losses though.. ? Keep up the good work. Thanks for making a great game!
  19. Does anyone have any news on the multiplayer list. Both the people I play with, myself, and many others are having problems with no or few servers popping up. The ones that do usually can't be connected to. No official ones are popping up either. Even my continue list shows all unavailable.
  20. Any new game I have now the left stick will move great and the right stick moves very slow. Even with the setting at 10 anyone else doing this or just me?
  21. Often when gathering resources, mainly wood, routine is as follows, chop the tree down and then chop it again for resources. But very often after i have cut down the tree i cannot chop it again for some reason, the game targets things around it. I found a simple solution, that is to dig once with a pickaxe at the top of the tree, then one can chop it again. This is not gamebreaking, the temporary fix i have been doing works, it is rather an annoyance.
  22. Every time I place things on the boat, it places, but cannot be seen. Also, for no reason some boats in the server will have all of thier equipment go invisible. Extremely frustrating bug, forces us to constantly join and rejoin to fix it.ie: if I lit the smelter at our camp, it would go invisible. When I placed chairs on our ship they were invisible, until I exited to desktop and relaunched the game. Going to main menu and then back to the game didn't fix anything.

  24. I'm gonna cut right to the chase. A few days ago me and a buddy played for about 2-3 hours then he started having some problems. Every item he placed was invisible for him, although I could see it just fine. When he reconnected he saw it, but new items he placed were still invisible. I was the host and had no problems. Yesterday I joined his server that he had been playing on for a couple of guys. It started off fine but after a few hours every item I tried to place was invisible for me. The host could see them and a reconnect fixed it until I placed something else. I attached the logs as requested on the Steam forum.   25. I got stuck in the wall of a house on my ship, and the only way out seemed to be using the /unstuck command. Only, that teleported me back to my first yland after sailing for several days. The disappointment! Is there any way I can load a previous save, or somehow teleport back to my ship to continue my journey?
