Hey guys - since the latest update - after between 20 seconds and a minute of playing - my computer hard crashes, either with a BSOD (sorry, didn't get the error message) or locks up necessitating a reboot. I tried uninstalling, deleting saves (just in case) and reinstalling, to no avail. Attached is DXDIAG log and OUTPUT_LOG. Hi. I play in my server./ Multi mode./ I have a little problem. My character is die offline mode. I eat full, and log out. If i log in next time then my character is die. "you not eat long time" Why? Other character is die some times. pls help... Thanks.

hey I have been having issues where when i try removing energy streams on my boat the game crashes.

My character died from an unknown cause and now i'm stuck at the "create new character" or return back to main menu. Clicking on create new character doesn't do anything. I can only go back to main menu. output_log.txt error.log output_log_clean.txt output_log.txt

I started a discussion on Steam(link to the discussion: http://steamcommunity.com/app/298610/discussions/0/1620599015883685394/?tscn=1514257809 ) with the same title as this one and, after several people answered, came to the conclusion that after placing the computer on a ship it will glitch the boat and cause it to not turn left or right. I didn't create a backup save to go back to so now I am stuck with a boat that I worked on for hours that can only go forwards or backward. Is there a way I can remove the computer from my save, or remove it from the game entirely. If I could, I could remove the computer, go into the world and save it without the computer, create a backup, and reinstall the game so the computer is back. But, I don't know if that would break the game/save and cause an even bigger problem because there is an item missing. I can't just go and break it because it disappeared, but maybe there is a way to make it reappear. But I don't know it if there is. These are the only things I could think of with my limited computer skills. Is there any way I can fix this? If not that is okay, but I would love to know if there is.

I've been playing for quite a while on my first base and when I went to go eat dinner, I went to log out as usual but it stayed on the screen saying it was saving the game. I went to dinner and came back and it was still on that screen. I restarted my laptop and chose my continue game. It then sent me to the character creation scree and it started me over on a new game. Is there anything I can do to get my game back? Zandarius

I am hosting a multiplayer game for two. Last night she logs off for the night and I log next. This morning I log on and play some. My friend then logs on and it says her character is dead from lack of food (this should not have happened). When she tries to make a new character her game freezes. I see her body on the ground and she can see me standing there. We backed up the game file two days earlier and tried that file today. No problems and both are alive. Somehow the game left her online and starved her to death and now will not let her come back, as if she is still online. output_log.txt output_log_clean.txt

My map keeps on resetting every time I die or relog and my ladder teleport me to a completely new island.. Sailing the ship is very buggy as well, the ship keeps on kicking me off board for some reason. I was suspended in mid air holding the ship helm as my ship sail away without me. output_log.txt output_log_clean.txt

after 50 hours of play, I happened to die several times, but the last time loaded for the new caracter, it begins with the lifeless gray hearts and the dark screen with the quick menus and the map , without being able to do anything stuck, you know if can you do something? Hi Bohemia, Congrats for the game I find it awesome. I'm coming here regarding an issue I have with iron ladders. (at least one !). Im playing SP only atm and the (pre built) house I'm using IG got an iron ladder. I've experienced weird teleports sometimes when using it. it TPs me on the top of a flying air tesla cube. So i die electrified or I just have the time to jump to death on the groung (just to avoid loosing my items). I've experienced this bug several time just by trying... I just wanna be sure it's a bug, and would like to know if it's ossible to correct this issue. Hi, due to no dedicated server we bought another copy and host on my second PC with a new steam account so the game is always open. The host will always starve and die but this is ok as its just for hosting the game. The issue is that my character when i log out on my playing account will still be dead each time i come back from starvation. My brothers character remains alive and ok as does our friends character. I am using the same network but a different pc and different account to the hosted game so this shouldnt happen# any ideas? thanks

I was playing my truck trial map today, hosted on my dedicated server. I have no idea if that's related to the problem or that it would happen when someone else hosts it. Anyway, I drove my car all the way to the end of the map and back, only to discover that all other cars were gone. Nobody else had joined me in the mean time. I did use the /unstuck a command on my way, so I tested this when next to the other cars but they wouldn't disappear. I verified it by reloading the map and trying it with both the small and the large cars, but with the same results. It only happens to cars apparently as the rafts I use as a bridge were still there. Hello there I've played Ylands in the past via the old launcher but now on Steam I'm getting a fatal error at startup, it looks like it's trying to get user profile info but fails.

I had finished playing earlier and I saved and exited, waited for steam to sync and shut down the pc. I logged in and I chose my save and it asked me to make a new avatar. I thought I had died for some dumb reason. A bug or something, I'd just report. I recognized the area I spawned in, so I made my way to my base noticing that all the stuff I had placed on my home island were fine, foreign trees I planted, old tools I had left in containers in some barrels that spawned. The lack of predators in the route I followed, etc. I reached my base and lo and behold it was intact with the storage containers containing what I expected and the furnace and kiln finished the stuff I placed in before I saved. The building projects I had started before I saved were all there. I looked for my corpse/stone the last place I saved from (see screenshot of the save) and it was not there. (My propeller pack, guardian armor, guns and stuff were all gone ) I also noticed ALL my crafting progress was gone. I looked around the last few places I was building making stuff and I could not find my corpse. My map update was gone (I had no map or testament in my inventory), it was like I entered it as a new player in MP. I made a ticket in your site as well but I put it here in case others may have had the same issue. I had just ventured into energy a day or so ago (RL time) and the prop pack a bit before that. I had streams all over the base. I was redoing my ship and building a lighthouse when this happened. DxDiag.txt output_log.txt

Hello, I was just returning to my ship from very succesfyl expedition. I click "use the ladder" and... I've found myself in Heaven. Literally. I didn't die and after a few moments I was respawned.., but I was respawned to my first Yland. Hopefully it is also my homebase, hopefully I still have the map and all my items. Problem is - my super transport ship is miles away from me and I have no boat. Well... Once again, please, let us manually save the game when we want it (in singleplayer it's not a problem, right?). In normal case I'd load me previous save and try to get onboard my ship again... Autosafe isn't "wonderful invention of XXIc" - it's not obligatory "happyness" for everyplayer. All The Best,Bartosz

Hello, I encountered quite a nasty issue earlier this evening. I logged out while designing a ship and when I came back I was killed by "unknown reasons". I respawned on an island that wasn't the main spawn island (the default island everyone starts on, and where my base was). When I finally returned to my home, I found that the Ylandium protective barrier no longer belonged to me, but belonged to my previous character that had the same name. I find this particularly annoying since I have spent many days building up my home, and no longer have ownership of any of it. output_log.txt output_log_clean.txt

When trying to go to multiplayer game, from the game i'm in, it will not let me pick " joinable " from the multiplayer page ( screenshot included with this bug report ) thus my wife can not join my game. When hitting continue to join back into my own singleplayer world I was prompted to create a new character. I did and was placed on the starter island with what was in fact a new character. This was on a world where I have logged probably 20+ hours. There are two possible causes that I believe may have lead to this error. 1. About 10 minutes prior I encountered a bug which caused me to teleport to a random ysland when interacting with the ladder on the large ship. Perhaps when the teleport happened it registered as a player death? 2. After this happened I was looking through game settings and decided to link my Bohemia and Steam accounts. Perhaps this registered a new ID to my profile causing the game to assign a new character to the new ID. I have yet to search the world for my previous character as I am unsure which ysland I was teleported to. output_log.txt output_log_clean.txt

Hey guys recently I posted the list of bugs I've encountered and I think I found a universal fix for most of those bugs lol It started when me and a close friend tried to replicate the bugs and crashes to see if we could help fix them for people as we both have coding knowledge. So between us we narrowed it down to 5 maybe 6 things that could cause these errors. So we tried all of them and nothing. Was kinda getting annoyed then Alina said Hey az you think windows updates could cause it? Well... it turns out it can.... was literally right in front of us all of the time this is because when windows updates it updates its library's which adds new commands and other assets which is needed for unity.... and of course this game runs in unity so when you don't update windows it doesn't have the commands needed for the game so the game tries to execute the new commands which don't exist yet and it can't so boom crash... This was what was happening to me, But as far as of right now I hope this helps someone out. ~Thanks Az/Alina

Hello once again Devs While chopping down a forest I found a bug that does not render tree stumps. The Tree is cut down then the Stump instantly disappears, but it is still an Object that I can walk on. From a certain distance, it renders but close up it does not render as an object.

I'm pretty sure ship rope ladders are known issue, players teleporting to another ladder than you are trying to climb. Example having 2 ships you try to climb to one of your ships and it teleports you to the second ship ladders. Well today I had new kind of bug with ladders. Explorer mode I climbed metal ladders in-house (one of those prebuilt ones) and it took me to top of tesla generator (prebuilt one on the sky) which was nearish of these ladders that were in house. Death was not avoidable of course. I was lucky that it all happened near spawn area and I did jump down from that tesla thingy so all the stuff was on the ground below it.
