As the title states, I believe the item labelled "wooden desk" -- which is a crafted 2x3 block of wood 1 tile thick -- is a typo and that actually a "wooden deck" is intended. This may seem a minor issue that has flown under the radar, but these wood pieces are among the most-used building items and mislabeling this piece will doubtless confuse a number of new players -- it certainly gave me pause when building for the first time.

I attach 3 screenshots..... in the first you can see a tree stump. it is visible at a distance. Take few steps closer..and its invisible! ...step back and it re-appears! ... same effect from any angle. You can walk up to it while its invisible, yet stand on it! ... refer 3rd screenshot ..its physically still there which explains why my car did flips and turns...when traversing this area. I decided to build a ship together with a friend. we built it. But then when we decided to build a second mast, a bug occurred. Now when I try to build any element, writes:: "location is too far" or "there is not enough space". Even in the process of building the ship throws in different directions. On dismantling this alchemist pants, it gives acai berries instead of rags. The shoes gave rags, but im not sure of the other sets. This was found in the map, not crafted.

I traveled so far from my Island, to discover map. I arrived to Ice Island, all normally, but when i went to return to my island, the ship didnt twist, only go forward and backward. I decided to change the wheel, but when i gonna place it, the ship start do strange things Ylands_Ship_bug.rar

Hello, This happened twice now on the same server my friend is hosting (non dedicated) where I'm playing as a client. I've placed a car chassis the first time, but couldn't place any driving seats on it. I decided to relog, only to find the chassis has disappeared completely. My friend was on the other side of the island, came to have a look but couldn't find it either. All my materials were used up. So I tried it again, made another chassis, placed some seats, an engine and made part of a car body. Drove it around for a while and used it, then we both logged off. I wasn't using the car when I logged off. After logging in today, my new car has disappeared again. I can give you my logs for now, I'm awaiting my friend sending the map and his logs. I'm trying to open ylands through steam but it's only opening the game window - never loading anything. I tried opening it a few times, restarting my machine between tries, and also left it for a while in case it was just loading, but I'm getting the same each time. I've not played it since before Christmas, and today got windows updates and the ylands updates. Anything anybody can suggest would be great - cheers output_log.txt output_log_clean.txt

I have over 150 hours into this game and loving it immensely. But........... I have just tried to log into my current character (who is very much alive) and when you select the game the screen normally scrolls to the sky with all the loading messages, but for me once the screen scrolls to the sky, there are no loading messages, and after 2-3 sec's I get a Character creation screen. I press escape to return to main menu, and it doesn't matter how many times I try this I get the same new character screen. If I create this new Character I am spawned on the same Island with all my buildings, boat, and chest (with items in) as if nothing has happened. Except my character has nothing in his inventory, no broken barrier, no note from my previous character, no container bags as I would have got if I died. I do backup my saves but this is still a loss of 2-3 hours if I go back to a previous save. Very frustrating as this is the 2nd time this week, hence why I am posting here. output_log.txt output_log_clean.txt

Hello all! I can't even begin, without saying how much I love this game! But today i stumbled opon a horible issue. I was on my car and i decided to try it in a cave (cause the entrance was close and easy reachible). So I managed to get inside and everithing went well. But when I tryed to drive away I sat in my car and then (by mistake) misclicked RMB wich made my character fall threw the map and dye. I wasn't so bummed out, because I knew that I will regain my map, keys. But right after I created my character nothing happened so I decided to exit to main menu. Right after I returned and recieved a "create new character". So i created and sudenly when i spawned i noticed that I(my previoce save) was standing next to me. I thought that killing him will regain my stuff back(it did, but THE KEYS AND MAP WAS GONE). It realy shocked me, so I realised that I migtht lose ownership of my forcefiled. I ran quickly to my house and foud out that i can't turn it on. (the game is multi and single player, I played it only alone) I'm no dev but maby, is there a way to revert my progress till i whent in the cave? Or to regain ownership back. I realy love this game, and It's realy painfull to lose it all. P.S. Every time the menu shows that my character is dead.

I'm trying to make some stuff in the editor and add items inside the containers and BOOM ! game crashed not once but a couple times ...

I just experienced a complete character wipe from a previous save game. At first i thought I had died but I remembered logging off on a dock I had built so sharks couldn't get me and this is a private game with a password. When i loaded the game it placed me in the character creation screen and every time I backed out and restarted the game it did the same thing again and again. I finally just recreated a character and it dropped me on my original starting island...all my structures were intact but all my crafting knowledge was gone, so I gathered materials for a little starter sail ship and set out to where i remember my main base being, everything was still there. The biggest down side is probably the loss of all the seeds I had collected along with all map data since the items my previous saved character had were all gone. Has anyone experienced this or has a work around perhaps to retrieve the lost character? If not, this should be on the list of priorities...losing character data is a huge blow to enthusiasm to play for people starting the game. I'll continue on to research more bugs. Thank you. UPDATE: I just had this happen again on the same game after managing to get most of my stuff back and also managing to find my home base islands, along with a couple other islands for materials i needed. This is a very devastating bug that discourages me to play adventure mode. I'll stick with Creative and the editor for now. I hope this one is at the top of the list of priorities.

According to the in-game help, the protective barrier, when active, will protect the plot owner from damage by other players while offline. However on the official NA 4 server I had an activated protected barrier and was within plot while offline and I was still PK'd. When I logged back in on the NA4 server I was even able to catch the name of the person that killed me.

So i do kinda enjoy this on but thats just exploiting. so when using the iron spade shovel. you can continue to use it after it breaks, only if you dont stop shoveling. (depress mouse button) you can use it indefinitely as long as you have the dig button pressed before it breaks. but once you stop digging after its broken. it now become broken. I do alot of digging and noticed this pretty fast.

My character died when I was offline. I was not hungry, no cold, no animals around me. I make a new character but all recipes is lost, all my inventory lost, my previous chartacter with tombstone is lost, no paper message from previous chracter in my inventory. Hello, I clicked on the Editor option in the Main Menu and then left the Editor without Saving anything (I didn't do anything in the Editor besides move the mouse around a bit and close to Main Menu without Saving). When I went back into my Single Player Exploration save, the character was completely bare with nothing from my character from before I exited last. My body and items were not anywhere to be seen from where I was standing. Now, I killed myself just off the shore and the screen just stays black after I choose to make a New Character. I tried closing the game and restarting it and it does the same thing. When I tabbed while in the death screen the Creator Cube/Crafting/inventory menu came up even though I'm not in creative mode. Can't respawn.

Logged out of my explore game for lunch ... took ages to save... actually hang at saving screen. After waiting 35 minutes restarted computer., then after looking at emails etc resumed my game. Came back and did a little survey around base... met two wolves who were not friendly. Then i noticed my car was missing! Did a wolf take it for a joyride? Searched around my base... looked around where it was last seen ... nothing...not even a burnout mark from the tires... after climbing to a high point and surveying the whole area , concluded, someone or something with bad taste in fashion and style took my ugly car. game has been working great, but all of a sudden i try to continue my game and it wont load. when i click on play, it goes to wanting to create new character.

Started Ylands up this morning and saw this. Not sure if this is a bug or he is just mad at me EDIT: nvmd i just found out that you can rotate the character in the main menu. im retarded.

Hi. I play in my server./ Multi mode./ I have a little problem. My character is die offline mode. I eat full, and log out. If i log in next time then my character is die. "you not eat long time" Why? Other character is die some times. pls help... Thanks.

My character died from an unknown cause and now i'm stuck at the "create new character" or return back to main menu. Clicking on create new character doesn't do anything. I can only go back to main menu. output_log.txt error.log output_log_clean.txt output_log.txt

I have noticed that when dropping stacked glowing mushrooms from inventory to the ground, the stack changes from 20 to 1. If placed into a container, the stack remains 20.
